Our “Make an Outfit” Colour Bundles consist some of our best fabrics presented in harmonious colours. These bundles are perfect for adding to your present wish-list, to gift someone special or to make a special treat to yourself.

In this bundle we handpicked complementary woven fabrics that blend beautifully with each other and will allow you to create a cohesive multiple piece outfit, our popular  solid colour Breeze Enzyme Washed pure linen in Teal paired with our exclusive vibrant Painted Foliage Coast Viscose fabric.

These two fabrics are ideal for sewing a cohesive outfit in your desired colour palette. The viscose fabric is perfect for making a dress, shirt, skirt or a blouse while matching solid colour bottom weight fabric can be used to sew a skirt, trousers, over-shirt, shorts or a jumpsuit. 

Our suggested patterns for this bundle would be following:

For Linen Fabric - We recommend the Sew House Seven Free Range Slacks (curve size range here), Cousette Magnette Trousers (shown in the artwork) or Closet Core Pietra Trousers. This fabric is also suitable for a light weight jacket like the Papercut Patterns Juno Jacket.

For Viscose Fabric - We recommend the Lise Tailor Pimpante Blouse (shown in the artwork), Atelier Brunette LA Blouse and Friday Pattern Company Donny Shirt and Patina Blouse. This fabric will also make a beautiful dress like the Closet Core Cielo Dress and Top or Lise Tailor Comet Dress and Blouse.

 

Threads are not included in this bundle, however if you would like to add matching threads to your fabrics please add threads separately to your basket and we will match them for you. If you require eny other sewing notions, you can purchase them from our haberdashery. 

Descriptions of the Fabrics Included: 

Painted Foliage Coast Viscose Fabric 

Exclusively designed by Rachel Parker for Lamazi Fabrics, Painted Foliage features an abstract design of foliage in bold and beautiful coastal shades. Inspired by the idea of a rainbow canopy of leaves, Rachel painted the affect of dappled sunlight passing through the foliage and tried to capture summer in this fabric.  

The fabric itself is a sustainably manufactured viscose with ample drape and very soft, smooth feel. It will make the most beautiful dresses, jumpsuits and blouses. 

Painted foliage is also available on pure linen in Cobalt and Autumn shades, as well as on viscose in Forest shade. 

Suitable for: blouses, shirts, tops, dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, nightwear and light and loose trousers.

Washing Instructions:  

It is advisable to always wash your fabric before sewing as shrinkage will occur when the fabric is first washed. Wash your fabric on a delicate program, temperature max 30°, Gentle spin (max 800 rpm).

Do not tumble dry or dry clean. 

Breeze Washed Linen in Teal

Breeze, our enzyme washed linen is a beautiful environmentally friendly fabric with good body, wonderful handle and slub finish. It offers all the great qualities you would expect from linen such as breathability, comfort and naturalness without the harsh environmental impact. 

This linen is washed with enzymes to soften the fabric and is not chemically treated. It is a wardrobe staple for spring-summer wardrobe and comes in beautiful range of colours. The fabric is easy to sew and gets softer and softer after each wash and with wear over time. 

Suitable for: shirts, trousers, tunics, tops, shorts, jumpsuits, light jackets and home accessories.

Washing Instructions  30 degrees (we recommend that you pre-launder fabric before sewing as shrinkage will occur).
