Maison Fauve - VITTORIA Blouse Paper Sewing Pattern

Maison Fauve - VITTORIA Blouse Paper Sewing Pattern

The VITTORIA shirt draws inspiration from the classic men’s tunic, reimagined for a modern and feminine wardrobe.

With bold design choices - a polo shirt-style button placket, a delicate collar, and signature swallow-tail yoke details - VITTORIA plays with shape and volume to create a garment that’s both timeless and unique, with the unmistakable Maison Fauve twist.

The dropped shoulders and straight, slightly loose fit give it effortless style, while its length is perfect for tucking casually into a skirt or trousers.

Sizing: The pattern is available in sizes 34 to 52, drafted for a height of 1m 65 and a base size of 36.

The fit is true to size, with a deliberately loose silhouette. We recommend not sizing up — if you’re between sizes, choose the smaller one.

Be sure to refer to both the body measurements and finished garment measurements charts to choose your size accurately. We also recommend making a toile (muslin) to confirm the fit and practise any unfamiliar techniques before cutting into your final fabric.

Sewing Level: INTERMEDIATE. Key techniques include sewing a polo shirt -style placket, assembling curved yoke pieces, setting in the collar and cuffs, and sewing a sleeve placket (continuous bound placket) at the cuff.

The seam allowances are included and are 1cm.

Supplies:

  • 40 cm of fusible interfacing

  • 7 buttons from 10 to 12mm

  • Fabric for a width of 140cm: 34-44: 140 cm, 46-52: 180cm

Fabric choice: Light to medium-weight fabrics, depending on the season and the look you want to achieve (70 to 200 g/m2). Think poplin, voile, crepe, cotton, tencel, viscose, linen, lightweight denim, or a soft jacquard, fabrics with a nice drape that still hold a bit of structure.
