Fibre Mood - STAR Blouse Sewing Pattern

Fibre Mood - STAR Blouse Sewing Pattern

Star has lived up to her name, because romantic blouses with matching puffed sleeves are back with a vengeance. This original blouse with short puffed sleeves, a cool button at the top and a concealed button closure effortlessly steals the show, whether you wear it with a pair of jeans, high-waisted trousers or skirt. But Star is not "just" a blouse, we've kept things interesting with a full lining. So you could think to wear her as a jacket layer too!

Sizes: XS - XXXL

Skill level: Confident Beginner 2/5

Materials & Supplies

• Thread

• Iron-on interfacing: max. 85 cm

• Button (Ø 2.5 cm): 1

• Buttons (Ø 1.5 to 2 cm): see table

• Light fabric or lining: see table

• Fabric: see table

Fabric suggestions

Star becomes a real eye-catcher with a somewhat stiffer poplin, taffeta or even organza. But chambray, double gauze, lyocell or linen also provide beautiful volume. If you would prefer the top to be more drapey, choose a thinner, more supple fabric such as (viscose) crepe.
