Fibre Mood Paper Magazine - Issue 15

Fibre Mood Paper Magazine - Issue 15

At first glance, Alena looks like a simple, casual dress with a round neckline and short sleeves. Spin her 'round though and you'll discover an elegantly designed back opening. Breeze into the warm temperatures of summer in Chloë. Be prepared for all the admiration when you wear this flowing, asymmetrical, off-the-shoulder top. Easy, breezy, comfy chic – that's the A-line Dolly dress. Elegance in no time at all? The Ezra pencil skirt does the trick. Try pairing it with the Viola top in the same fabric for a winning outfit. Onah's motto? Let's do the twist! These trousers enjoy the quirky life with a waistband, trendy asymmetrical fastening, interesting pleats (one runs all the way to the hem) and of course, it has pockets! Also meet Belle, Edda, Lou, Mae, Pipa and Vikki in this summer issue of Fibre Mood.

What is Fibre Mood?

Fibre Mood is a sewing pattern magazine. The patterns are mostly for women, with some for children and men as well. The magazine includes lots of style inspiration for each design.

The magazine is laid out in three sections:

1: The first section showcases the patterns included in the magazine with line drawings and beautiful photoshoots and style inspiration.

2: The second section has the patterns. These come on pull-out A1 sheets, folded and stapled into the magazine. The patterns are overlaid, similar to Burda, but they are colour coded which makes them easier to trace off. Some of the sewing patterns also include different variations you can make.

3: Fabric suggestions, fabric requirements, a size chart and finished garment measurements are all included in the magazine for each pattern. Have a look at the pictures included to get an idea. Basic instructions are included in the magazine but these are just illustrations with no wording. Fully illustrated instructions for each pattern can be downloaded in four different languages (English, French, Dutch and German) online FREE here. Find tips on how to use the magazine here.

Please note: The pattern pieces are included in the magazine on pull-out overlapping sheets so you will need to trace off the pieces you want to use.

Seam allowances: The sewing patterns are printed without seam allowances so you will need to add these on when you trace your pattern pieces out.
